Literature/Composition:   There will be practice STAAR tests during Lit/Comp on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will also continue to read and discuss  The Pearl. Grammar/Writing:  We will continue Week 23 in Writing where scholars will work on recreating another author’s intent using an outline. In Grammar, we will start Ch. 3:

We will have a Grammar quiz over Ch. 2 on Thursday.

Incentives grow as we reach our goal: crazy hair day, a pizza party, and even a petting zoo!     What's Happening Next Week?   History:     Literature/Compositio n:   Scholars will read and discuss the first two chapters of John Steinbeck's  The Pearl  together in class.   Grammar/Writing:     Mathematics:  S cholars will be reviewing past lessons in DO NOWs as they continue learning about different cases in probability. They will learn to find odds in favor and odds aga
