7th grade (8/31 - 9/4)

Dear Parents and Families, Happy Friday! We hope that the weekend offer us all respite and reflection to come back fresh and ready to learn next week. We are thankful for all your support, encouragement and trust in us. We are all a team! Let us continue working together with one goal - to instill in our students the virtues of Truth, Goodness and Beauty.  What's Happening Next Week? This week in Science students will continue to expand their knowledge of cell organelles and their functions. Additionally, we will spend the week looking at our first biological kingdom, Kingdom Protista. Students will learn that while these organisms can be very small, they impact our lives every day. Mathematics class will enter a new chapter with Decimal system next week. Students will learn about exponents, squares and cubes. Each scholar is encouraged to memorize all the squares of number 1 - 20 as we progress. We'll also re-learn rounding, Basic properties of Number and Simplifying express

A Note From 7th Grade Teachers Dear Parents and Families, We thank you for your hard work! We are humbled and honoured to have you trust us with your child. Due to MAP testing, which is scheduled at the beginning of the week, there will be no zoom classes at all on Monday and Tuesday. Classes will resume on Wednesday.  3. Scholars are not allowed to send photos of their assignments to other scholars under any circumstances. It is also unacceptable to copy another scholar's work, which will result in a score of zero on the assignment.   Parents, please see the stream of your scholar's google classroom daily for an updated agenda for the day. This will help guide your scholar while doing their work to ensure everything is being done and turned in. It will also help you when you are checking your scholars work to make sure that nothing was forgotten about or missed.   We are working very hard to provide your scholar with feedback to all of the work being turned in. In order to see how your student is doing on assignments turned in follow the steps provided below: In Google Classroom on the web, available classes display after you sign in. Click on or tap a class, then Classwork (from the top menu), then View 'My Work'. When you see a small speech bubble next to an assignment that means a teacher has left a comment for your scholar.   In the Google Classroom app on iOS or Android, tap a class, tap Classwork, then tap the student work icon in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.   Each assignment is li
