7th grade (September 9/7 - 9/11)

Dear parents, we hope this long weekend brings us all back with renewed enthusiasm for learning. We should tell you that there are no Zoom sessions for Tuesday this week. For Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, there will be zooms for Literature/Composition and Mathematics. Below is the short overview of what we'll be doing next week.

                                                        What's Happening Next Week?

This week in Science, scholars will learn about three different types of symbiotic relationships as well as examples for each type of relationship. On Wednesday, scholars will begin to study the Kingdom Fungi. In order to help scholars understand the impact fungi has on our lives, they will read about the discovery of penicillin on Friday.

In Literature this week we will be reading and discussing chapter 5 of Call of the Wild.

For Mathematics, we will learning to simplify expressions using parentheses and brackets. We will learn the use of these two and review properties. Alongside, we will be starting a new chapter on Positive and Negative number at the end of the week.

The History class will be studying Mexico's independence from Spain.
We will also be having a Test on Chapters 3 and 4.
